Pull-off testing is one of the most widely used test methods in the construction industry. This is reflected in the huge number of standards dedicated to the method. It has long been known that one of the major influences on the result of a pull-off test is the operator influence in the appli- cation of a constant load rate. These Pull-off Testers, with there integrated, feedback-controlled motor removes this variable completely, by providing a fully automated test at a constant load rate which can be verified.

  • There are three version of DY-2 separated from each other in terms of maximum traction. This range includes all tensile applications.
  • 6 kN (DY-206), such as testing the adhesive strength of mortar and plaster has a higher sensitivity for low-strength applications. 16 kN (DY-216) covers most applications. 25 kN (DY-225) are used for very high strength applications such as fiber reinforced polymers test depends on concrete structures(ASTM D 7522 / D 7522M-09) or bond strength test of the repair and coating(ASTM C 1583).
  • DY-2 is suitable for all standards listed below:EN 1542, EN 1015- 12, EN 1348, ISO 4624, BS 1881 Part 207, ASTM D 4541, ASTM C 1583, ASTM D 7234-05, ASTM D 7522, ZTV-SIB 90, JGJ126-2000, JGJ144-2004, JGJ110-2008. Further, many standard specifies requirements regarding sensitivity. DY-2, calibrated according to EN ISO 7500-1 standard class 1.
